Living Arts of Africa

1 – 2 p.m.

Discover objects for daily use and regalia fit for a king from the diverse continent of Africa. Learn about masquerade and divination, as well as customs for settling disputes and initiating young men and women into the community.

Family Center
Families with young children can take a break in the new Family Center on the first floor. Stroller parking, snacking and private nursing areas, computer activities, games, quiet reading areas, and a restroom are available.

Target Family Day

Join us for our free monthly event for families, kids, and the young at heart. One Sunday a month, you'll have a blast making art, going on artful adventures, meeting local artists, musicians, dancers, and story tellers, and more!
